前回、株式市場（１）では、フィリピンを代表する株式指数として、３０社からなるPSEiの構成銘柄を紹介しました。
In the last issue of Philippines Stock Market (1), I introduced the constituent stocks of the PSEi, which consists of 30 companies, as a representative stock index of the Philippines.
今回、８月１６日より２銘柄の入替が発表されました。入替となるのは、新規に追加になる銘柄として、AC Energy Corporationと Converge ICT Solutions Inc. 除外される銘柄は、Emperador Inc.とDMCI Holdings Inc.です。
This time, two stocks were announced to be replaced from August 16. The stocks to be replaced are AC Energy Corporation and Converge ICT Solutions Inc. The stocks to be excluded are Emperador Inc. and DMCI Holdings Inc.
年度で構成銘柄を見直していることはPSEiを活性化するためにも非常に有効なことだと思います。特に、新規に加わるConverge ICT Solutions Inc.は、通信を支える光ファイバーネットワークを構築する企業ですからPSEiの中でもユニークな存在になると思います。すでに大きく上昇していますが、これを機にさらに買われるのでは無いかと思います。
I think that reviewing annually the constituent stocks is a very effective way to revitalize the PSEi. In particular, I think that newcomer Converge ICT Solutions Inc. will be unique in the PSEi because it is a company that builds fiber-optic networks that support telecommunications. It has already risen significantly, but I think this will be an opportunity to buy it further.
